The Livolo pulse switch, also called an impulse switch, springs back immediately as soon as you release it. As a result, it only makes temporary contact, comparable to a bell push. This makes the switch ideal for use in advanced systems such as KNX home automation, where the impulse is used to control scenes or devices.

Because this pulse switch only closes a contact when it is pressed and immediately breaks it when released, a potential-free contact is created (also called a dry contact). This allows you to safely use the switch to control systems or devices that operate with different voltages.

The contact of the switch is suitable for one device or a group of devices with a maximum power of 2000 watts (depending on the connected system or relay). 

Connection options: COM, NO and NC 

The Livolo pulse rocker switch has three connection points: COM, NO and NC. These make it possible to integrate the switch into electrical or home automation systems in various ways:

• COM (Common): The common contact. This is the central connection point that is switched to NO or NC.
• NO (Normally Open): Normally open. Only contacts COM when the switch is pressed. This is the most common connection for pulse control.
• NC (Normally Closed): Normally closed. Makes contact with COM as long as the switch is not pressed and breaks this contact when the button is pressed.
  

This configuration allows you to use the rocker switch flexibly, both for simple switching and in advanced home automation systems where the type of switching (make or break) is important.
