What makes this pulse switch special?

Potential -free switching means that a switch can switch a voltage in another electric circuit, without any voltage on the switch contacts themselves. This makes it possible to operate safely devices or systems with different voltages.

With a standard switch, voltage is switched within the same circuit. An example of this is a normal light switch that 230 volts passes on to a lamp. When the switch is converted, the lamp comes on because the same voltage is passed.

With potential -free switching it works differently. For example, the switch receives 230 volts and closes a make contact that is normally open. There is no tension on this contact. This is also called a dry contact. You can use this contact freely for applications with alternating voltage or direct voltage. This makes it suitable for, for example, home automation or the control of specific devices.

The Livolo switch is designed to be reliable and durable. The installation of the Livolo Touch switch is very simple and does not require a technical background. It can be mounted both horizontally and vertically and is suitable for four light points or four groups of lamps with a maximum power of 2000 watts per output. For LED lighting this means that you can connect multiple lamps, depending on their wattage. 

The switch is equipped with screw connections, which makes the installation easy and safe. You do not need any specialist knowledge to install the switch and it can be connected directly to your existing wiring.
